Beyond Bread

Always a winner. Been eating at Beyond Bread since we made it to So. Arizona in 2021. I think I haven’t done this review due to laziness. But it’s well overdue. I have not tried anything other than the Bob’s BLT. Honestly I don’t care to try anything else because this sandwich just on its own is perfect! The bread, perfect crunch, great flavor that holds the lettuce, tomato and bacon really well. The bread is just as good as the rest of what is inside. I get the BLT with no mayo and extra bacon. They will do it. The best part of this sandwich is when you take a bite out of it. You hit every layer just rite. First you go thru the perfectly toasted bread, then you start to bite into the bacon followed by the veggies. You get to experience every layer of crunch unlike any other sandwich out there. The whole sandwich is a big perfect crunch. Nothing overpowering anything. All the flavors are perfect. The sides are all great but again, I only get the pasta salad. It’s a perfect variety of peas, corn, a little parmesan cheese I think as well as the pasta. I detect a hint of acidity probably from some kind of vinegar. Absolutely delicious. The BLT and the pasta salad has to be the perfect combination yet. It’s so good I don’t care to try anything else. I’m loyal to this sandwich and will remain so. The other sandwich was a Tito’s Torta. I took a small bite and it’s incredible. Bread is perfect, a ton of meat, creamy avocado, lettuce, tomato, etc…This sandwich is big, bigger that my BLT. You can eat half now and eat the other half later. It was paired with a fat free vinegar slaw. Great taste by the way. Service is quick. No matter what you get it’s going to be great. And there is also lots of pastry and cookie varieties. Can’t go wrong with it either. Prices are fair. The picture of the menu and prices are current as of 5/2025. Next time you crave a sandwich then give it a try. This it 10 times better than the typical sub sandwiches we all see advertised from all the other typical places.

The food is fresh and there are a lot of different sandwiches and bakery items to choose from. There is quite a bit of seating but it has been busy when I’ve visited at lunch time each time. There is also an exit through the restaurant called Back Dough where you can purchase quiche and pies.

My great friend invited me out to have lunch at Beyond Bread in the Monterey Village on Speedway and Wilmot Rd. on the SW corner. It was my first time at beyond bread and won't be my last! The Atmosphere was pleasant though many people gathered to enjoy lunch. You walk up and order what you want, then decide whether you want to stay inside or sit out at one of two outdoor patios. We decided it was a nice day and went for the patio to the eastern side. It was comfortable and roomy for the fact that the place was busy on a May afternoon in Tucson, AZ. I ordered the soup special which come in large or small with choice of bread. My friend ordered the Maya's Special with chips and a soda. When they brought my soup out, I saw some green in with my Tomato Soup and it was the Basal. I mentioned that I thought the green was jalapino's, which I love. The Server said she could bring some out for me, which was nice and made my soup and grain bread a hit with me. I will be back again as it wasn't just lunch but a great dinning experience!!!! I highly recommend stopping in to give it a try. It is worth it!

I love food made at Beyond Bread. I have been getting the cheesecake brownie ever since they started making it. About a month ago, the person I always share it with said that she thought it had become smaller. We have watched it shrink over the last few months and no longer feeds two. PLEASE redo the sizes of the individual pieces of this delicious dessert!

Most delicious sandwiches because they are on freshly baked bread. Love the corned beef and BLT! Yummy and something for everyone.

Delicious and worth the price! We don't need dinner after lunch here - BIG portions and so tasty! The food came out quickly, coffee was good, and our plates were clean...

Oh my GOD the food is absolutely fantastic and you can buy homemade bread. They have fantastic coffee and they serve really good beer!My two favorite sandwiches are Joel’s Jolt and Brads Beef! The menu has a ton of choices. It’s got fantastic atmosphere and it’s clean. The workers are super nice and if you get a chance tell the Manager he’s doing a great job!! It’s always busy unless you go at odd times but the lines are quick.
